Visorb is a sterile absorbable synthetic surgical suture made from glycolic acid polymer filaments, braided and then sheathed with a coating allowing easy transition through tissues whilst ensuring excellent knot security.
Visorb retains approximately 65% of initial strength at 2 weeks after implantation, then approximately 35% after 3 weeks. Complete absorption is between 60 and 90 days.
